Charvar Networks is part of Charvar Networks Inc., based in Nanaimo, BC. This page explains what we collect through this website and what we do with it. We follow British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

What we collect

This website has no forms and no accounts. If you email us at support@charvar.com or call us, we receive whatever you choose to send, such as your name, company, email address and phone number. Like most websites, our web host keeps standard server logs (your internet (IP) address, the pages requested and the time) for security.

This website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. If you switch between light and dark mode, your browser remembers that choice on your own device; it isn’t sent to us.

Why we collect it

To reply to your enquiry and, if you ask us to, to set up a discovery call or quote a project. We don't sell or rent your details, and we won't add you to a mailing list unless you ask.

Where it goes

Your emails arrive in our team's business inbox and are kept with our customer records. Our website is hosted by Hosting Nation, and our email and hosting providers may store information outside Canada. The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers.

How long we keep it

If you become a client, we keep your details for as long as we work together and as required for our business records. If we don't end up working together, we may still keep your enquiry with our business records. If you'd like it deleted, just ask and we will, unless the law requires us to keep it.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time. Call us at 250-585-2233 or email support@charvar.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
